Hey there everyone!
I hope you all had an amazing weekend and are ready to kick off the week strong! I for one had a crazy weekend with finals and end of the semester being right around the corner. So the stress is so real right now! On the bright side, I am very excited to share my first FabFitFun box experience! I was inspired to try out these boxes from seeing many different celebrities or public figures sharing their experiences with the boxes and I thought it would be something cool to try and write about it! So let’s check out the box!
So, I was able to get $10 dollars off my first box from a code that a celebrity shared with her box, so my first box cost me $39.99. I am a seasonal member which means that I pay for my box every season & my next renewal for my next box will be in March 2018. So, it is not a monthly payment which I think is very cool!
When you first sign up for the box, you take a style quiz & answer a bunch of questions on the types of things that you would want to see in your box. So would you like to see more beauty products, more fashion or more fitness? What hair type or skin type you are, etc. This way they can fix your box to your specific style and needs!
When I first opened my box, I was very pleasantly surprised! All the products were exactly to my needs & full size!
The first item I received was the BB Dakota Poncho! This is perfect for lounging or traveling this season, this ultra-cozy knit poncho will be your chic defense against chilly nights! I love the material. It’s not scratchy, it’s actually pretty soft! It’s perfect for really any occasion & pairs well with almost anything. 10/10 would totally recommend!
The next item is the AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream! When I first tried this I was very much surprised. I thought it would smell strong and be overly oily. It actually smelled GREAT (very subtle) and felt amazing on my hands. The lotion actually has Dead Sea minerals mixed with other natural ingredients which save your hands from any environmental & household damage. Another (very big) plus is that it is cruelty free, vegan, and allergy tested for sensitive skin! TRIPLE THREAT! By far this is one of my new favorite products that came in the box.
I mean who doesn’t love new mugs?! This cute Homemade mug by Ayesha Curry is absolutely adorable! Even better… it’s full sized! This mug also comes in 2 different designs but I honestly relate with this style the most. I love the simplistic design to the mugs and the humor that is on the mug. Absolutely adorable!
I own way more fuzzy socks than I know what to do with… and now I have another pair I can add to my collection! They are Pointe Studio Infused Cozy Socks! I love that these fuzzy socks are aloe infused which makes your feet extremely soft and feel amazing. When you are lounging around the house this holiday these socks are a must-have.
Next up is the Kate Somerville ExfoliKate! I have a sensitive skin complexion so using skin care products is crucial for me not to break out. I had really bad acne in middle school and some of high school until I started using a line of Mary Kay skin care products so using new products can be a scary thing. But I have to say this product surprised me the most out of everything. After washing my face I applied the exfoliate on to my face and left it on for a little under a minute and then washed it off. Immediately I felt a difference in my skin texture and appearance. It felt more smooth, my pores had shrunk, and I had a bright glow to my face. Overall it was a great product and I can’t wait to use it again!
This next product was one of my free “add-on” items that came inside of my box! It is the Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. At school sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep some nights. When I read the bottle, it says that it will help you fall asleep faster and wake up feeling more refreshed. It actually works great! I felt more refreshed than ever the next morning and ready to kick off my day. The scent is absolutely wonderful. It’s a mix of natural lavender, vetiver, and chamomile. I use it every night since I received the box!
This item I have not used yet, but I will definitely be trying it out soon! It is the Nelson j Beverly Hills Moisture Healing Mask. This product you are supposed to use to protect your hair before or after you go swimming. This will totally come in handy when I go to Florida after Christmas (yes there will be a blog about the trip)! So far what I like about the product is the smell. Normally I am not a huge fan of the coconut smell, but I love the coconut scent for this hair mask. I can’t wait to use it!
Next is the DOUCCE Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette! I love the color scheme for this eyeshadow. I am very much a neutral color girl. So I love the simplicity of the colors and the shades. It goes on your eyes super smooth and really makes your eyes pop, which I absolutely love about the palette.
Last product is the 8 Other Reasons Nine Lives Choker. I am always very skeptical when I receive jewlry online. Mainly because I’m not sure how cute it will look when I receive it in person. But I love the look of this necklace. It is super simple and pairs well with everything!
Overall, I think the FabFitFun Winter 2017 Box was a big success! All of the products that came inside, were high quality and I was amazed at how well they worked or looked. All the products in my box totaled a $395 value, that I paid $39.99 for! I would highly recommend FabFitFun for anyone who is looking to try new products and is ready to explore new brands!
I hope you enjoyed this post and I encourage you all to go and check it out, sign up & enjoy your FabFitFun experience! Also, if you haven’t already, be sure to go and follow me on social media & keep up to date with everything going on! Have a great week everyone and I will talk to you all again soon!
Sending Good Holiday Vibes
