Becoming a Kickass Girlboss + Update

Hello beautiful people!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are having a great start to your week. This past weekend was full of work and lots of relaxation which was definitely needed. I have been undergoing a lot of stresses in different areas of my life which has been making it hard to focus on the aspects of my life that are truly important. But, this week I am already feeling a rise in my mood and I am in a motivation kick. I have had a lot that I have been working on as far as new content, internships, and school so feeling motivated to work on it all has really been a blessing! I have been working really hard lately to build up my brand image on all my platforms which have been stressful but I am working to try and gain more readers and start a community of people who are interested in reading or following my platforms. I was thinking a lot about motivation this week and becoming the best version of myself that I can be. I know I talk A LOT about GIRLBOSS tips, but this week I wanted to touch on becoming a kickass GIRLBOSS (or BOYBOSS) and how you can live your best life today!

Find something you love & do it

You can take anything that you love to do and turn it into something big. There are so many people who take the smallest hobby and are able to turn it into a business for themselves or at least have a small business on the side. For me, I have always loved to write so blogging for all of you has truly brought me so much joy and opportunity which makes me excited to see what the future has in store. If you love cutting hair, writing or designing new styles then find that niche and put everything you have into it and maybe someday it will turn into something great!

Surround yourself with supportive friends

If you are going to get anywhere in life then having the support of your friends and family is going to make a difference. I have always had the most support coming from my friends and family which has pushed me to try and excel in many areas of my life. Surround yourself with people who will be there for you through thick and thin because, in the end, it will help you face those setbacks and move forward to greater things!

There will be barriers

There will always be something or someone that is holding you back from achieving the greatness that you want. People are going to give your opinions that may not be what you want to hear, but you should NEVER let others opinions stop you from doing what you want. Instead of quitting when someone says or does something rude, use that barrier as a way to make yourself better and propel yourself forward!

Make clear goals

Having goals are an essential piece because they keep your mind focused on what you are really trying to achieve. In any aspect of your life having goals makes it easy for you to track your progress of where you want to be at what time in your life. If you are crystal clear about what you want, then I believe that your mind will tune into it and BAM it’s happening!

Know your audience

Once you have found a niche and you know exactly what you want to share with people, then focus on that specific audience who will like what you are doing. Knowing what your audience likes is key to having them even care as to what you are promoting!

Have patience

Everything takes time. You will not see success overnight so don’t get discouraged. Something that I have had trouble with is my patience with my blog and why it’s taking so long for any traffic to come to my page. I just have to keep reminding myself that everything takes time and I can’t expect everything to just magically happen until I put in the work to do so. So don’t get discouraged because everything will work out the way that it is supposed to!

I hope this post gives everyone that little push of motivation and courage to make their dreams reality. Now, I have some exciting news to share… I AM STARTING A VLOG! I am super excited (and a little nervous) to start a vlog, but I am really pumped to share content with all of you not just through my writing but through video. I am planning out everything the next few months so that the vlog will “launch” this summer. I hope you are all as excited as I am! I hope you all have an amazing rest of your week and I can’t wait to talk to you all again real soon.

Sending Positive Vibes,

Latest Obsessions + February Goals

Hello beauties!

The weather in Michigan has been not so amazing lately but, that is not bringing a damper on my mood because we have made it to February! So far, everything has been great this month. Everything in my life seems to be moving forward in a positive direction and it shows no signs of slowing down! Last week we had the whole week off school because of horrible snowstorms and freezing temperatures so I was able to sit and relax all week, which was amazing. Last week was a time for relaxing but, I was able to get a lot organized for this blog. It is that time of the month for my latest obsessions and goals blog post, and I am so pumped to share all of my favorite things with you!

Hydro Flask Waterbottles

I have been looking for a new replacement water bottle and I have found one that I absolutely love! It is not super clunky, it can hold a great amount of water to it, and it keeps my water in the bottle cold for hours. It is a little bit expensive but totally worth the price for a long lasting waterbottle!

Apple Airpods

I received a pair of Airpods for Christmas and I have to say, I have fallen in love. I used to hate that anywhere I went, I had this long dangling cord getting in the way of everything, but now I don’t have to worry about that anymore! They are perfect when I go workout or when I’m on the go for classes. I am never using my old headphones again!

YOU on Netflix

This was one of my many obsessions over January, but I am sharing it now. Oh my gosh, what a show! It hooked me from the start and I finished it within a matter of days. It’s a very twisted show about a bookstore keeper who falls in love with this aspiring writer which leads to a very strong addiction towards her, causing him to do whatever it takes for love. It is so unbelievably crazy and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone who is looking for a new show to binge on Netflix. I can’t wait for season 2!

Lavender Lattes

If you are looking for a little spin on your typical coffee order, then you HAVE to try lavender lattes! The lavender adds a totally unique flavor which is to die for. If you know a place near you who offers this coffee style, try something new and enjoy!

Kayla Itsines BBG Workout

This workout is a butt-kicker, but it is actually amazing. It is a 12-week workout program focusing on weight loss. I am a person who finds it hard to work out if I don’t have a solid plan to follow but this plan lays everything out very simple and doesn’t require a ton of equipment. It’s circuit training which means that I have 4 exercises that I repeatedly do in a 7-minute time limit, rest, do the second circuit and then 30 minutes of cardio! It really kicks your butt, but it is totally worth it. If you need a new routine, go check out this workout plan!

Now time for the goals:

  • Create a posting schedule for social media & Hannah Rose blog
  • Travel somewhere new
  • Go on more dates with Nick
  • Create a savings plan
  • Finish one book outside of normal class readings
  • Start meditation routine

I hope all of your February’s are off to a great start so far and I am so excited to see what this month has in store for me. There is so much more content that is in the works for all of you to read and I am so pumped to post. You are all beautiful and I hope you have an amazing rest of your week. I will talk to you all again soon!

Girl on the Go + Managing Time

Hey there everyone,

I hope you all have been doing amazing & have kicked off your new year strong! So far 2019 has been going in the right direction for me. I am feeling more motivated, I have let go of a lot of weight on my shoulders and I am very excited to see what else this year has in store for me! We have started a new semester here at Grand Valley and it has just hit me that this is my final semester of college… what?! It’s crazy to think that after 4 years of being at Grand Valley I will be graduating & moving on to bigger and better things. Last week was my first week of classes and so far I am really enjoying the classes I am taking. It’s going to be a lot of work this semester, but I am ready to attack this final semester & make it the best one yet! Now that I am back in a routine, I thought I would share some of my advice to you other guys and girls who are always on the go like myself.

Plan ahead for the week

I always feel out of sorts or more stressed when I don’t have a plan for the week ahead so, I try to sit down for 10 minutes on Sunday to work out my schedule for the week with work, classes, workouts and whatever else needs to be done that week. This most definitely helps me get a better idea of what I need to get done & make sure I complete everything on my schedule!

Create a routine

This basically goes hand in hand with the planning ahead for the week & I am a person who loves a good routine! When I create a routine, I write down what I normally do on these days and I am always sure to leave some free time for relaxing, doing an activity or to spend time with my friends & boyfriend.

Take a media break

My phone has become the biggest distraction for me when it comes to trying to manage a busy schedule. I always get distracted when I have a show on or I try to take a “quick” break to scroll through social media which ends up throwing off my whole routine. It was tough to do at first, but I forced myself to silence my phone, put my head down and focus on the tasks that I had to get done. Believe me, if I can pull myself away from my phone, you can do it too!

It’s okay to say NO

I have always been that person who always said yes to things even though I have a lot of other things going on because I am a TOTAL people pleaser. It got to the point that I was so focused on 100 different things that I wasn’t having any time for myself. It’s okay if you are swamped with other things happening, to say no if one more thing on your plate will be just too much. If anything, other person should be understanding that you are busy & you can always reschedule!

Remember to take good care of yourself

I have turned over this new leaf & I have started to take better care of myself no matter what. Even with a busy schedule, it is important for you to take time to care for yourself. Whether that be exercise, meditation, naps or making yourself a delicious meal, taking a minute to focus on you is a key way to mange a busy schedule!

I hope you all have an amazing rest of your week & I would like to apologize for not being consistent with my posts lately. Creating new content has been pretty tough lately, but I am working on generating content months in advance so it will be more consistent for all of you! That being said, thank you so much to all of you who have been reading my posts. Starting this blog has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made & I can’t wait to share more content with all of you. I’ll talk to you all again soon!

My Latest Obsessions + December Goals

Hey there my beautiful friends!

Wow there has been so much happening these past few days. Next week is finals week, Christmas is directly afterwards & then the end of 2018! I feel like this year has gone by in the blink of an eye but I am so ready for a new fresh start. Since we are in December still, I thought it would be a perfect time to share some of my latest obsessions & goals for this last month of 2018!

Thick & Thin Podcast

Katy Bellotte is basically my spirit animal. I absolutely love listening to her podcast because it’s basically the only thing keeping me going through the rest of my week! Her take on life & sharing her own experiences of a millennial living in New York City are so inspiring to listen to. After you listen to one of her episodes, I promise you will be hooked. Keep doing you Katy!

BLAQ Eye Masks

I told you all that I received these eye masks in my latest FabFitFun box & I have to say I am already 100% hooked. These eye masks are supposed to help reduce puffiness & tiredness from you eyes which help them appear brighter! 10/10 I would recommend to anyone suffering from the same tired look that I have been wearing lately.

Puffy Sleeved Sweaters

I recently have found new love for puffy sleeved sweaters! I just purchased this adorable grayish sweater from Altar’d State & I cannot stop wearing it. It is so soft & I love the uniqueness of the sleeves because I feel like they add something extra to the overall look!

Holiday Movies

Since we are in December that means that the Christmas movies binge is totally on! I love the nostalgic feeling I get when I watch old Christmas movies I would watch as a kid. Movies like, A Year Without a Santa Claus, Jack Frost, Elf, A Christmas Story (and so many more) just put me in most festive mood this holiday season!

Influencer by Brittany Hennessy

I absolutely love this book by Brittany Hennessy! It discusses the idea of becoming an influencer in today’s world which has been so interesting to read. Being someone who is in advertising & marketing, I learning new ways to market myself on social media which this book does really well!

Now time for some goals!

  • Start a money saving plan
  • Get back into a workout routine
  • Land an internship
  • Finish holiday shopping
  • Connect with more bloggers in my area

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post & I wish you all a great rest of your week/weekend! Stay tuned for more frequent content coming your way really soon. I am so pumped for this content so continue checking in on my blog for everything Hannah Rose. Talk to you all again really soon!

What I am Thankful for + Holiday Plans

Hey there beautiful people,

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am so freaking excited for Thanksgiving this week! I am so excited for some homemade food & some well-deserved relaxation time. This past weekend was full of studying for last minute exams and nonstop working on assignments, so needless to say I am 100% ready for a break. Thanksgiving is right around the corner & it had me thinking of all the things that I am truly blessed to have in my life! This season is the time to reflect & focus on those people or things that mean the most to you, which is why I wanted to share some of the blessings that I could not be more thankful for this season!

I know, I know this is the most basic item in my life to be thankful for, but I would not be where I am today without my family supporting me every step of the way. I hope none of you forget how truly amazing your families are & always keep them at the top of your thankful list!

Old & New Friends

Of course my friends are next on my list! I love my friends because I know they always have my back no matter what & support me in everything I do. Here’s to making more memories with my friends both old and new. I am so thankful for all of you!

He has been so patient with me these past (almost) three years, which has made me feel so loved. I am so thankful to have him in my life. His constant love & support that he gives me in every aspect of my life could not mean more to me. I am so proud of him & proud to call him mine. I can’t wait to celebrate more moments with him & I love him so very much!

Coffee Coffee Coffee

Always thankful for caffeine. Let’s be real it’s the only thing that has been fueling me this semester!

My mental & physical health

Lately I have been pretty sick & I finally started feeling better (thank god) so I am so thankful to be healthy! This semester has really been testing my mental health between classes & struggles with my own personal battles, but I am feeling so much better now which has been an amazing feeling. Mental & physical health is so important so everyday is really a gift when I am able to get up and go about my day!

My education

I have been so blessed to be in college these past (almost) four years & I am so excited to be graduating next spring! I have learned & grown so much over the past few years in my education & I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for me after I get my degree.

What are some things that you are thankful for? Share in my comments!

There is so much more that I could list that I am thankful for but then I would be writing a novel for you. I am so excited to be going home today to see my family & spend a few needed days with them! This is Nick’s first time coming with me to celebrate Thanksgiving in Detroit with me so I am all sorts of pumped. After Thanksgiving, we only have 2 more weeks of classes til finals for this semester & then… CHRISTMAS BREAK! Lots of holiday fun for this Christmas & then my last semester of college. Holy cow that is crazy to think about! There is so much to look forward to & so much fun that I cannot wait to share with you. Have an amazing holiday & I am so thankful for every single one of you who take the time to read my blogs. It truly means so much to me. I’ll talk to you all again soon!

Latest Obsessions + November Goals

Hey there beautiful friends!

Holy cow it is already November. I literally feel like summer just ended & now we are in full swing for Thanksgiving & CHRISTMAS! I have not gotten my Christmas vibes on just yet, but I am excited for the next few weeks to come. I apologize for not posting anything lately. I have been tied up with school work & to be honest, my creative energy has been at an all time low for for writing. Normally in the fall I am motivated & ready to kick the semesters butt, but lately it seems to be the other way around. However, this week has me feeling all sorts of motivation & the content I have coming for you is going to be awesome. With that being said, I am super pumped to share with you my latest obsessions & goals for this November season!

Oversized Scarves

Living in Michigan has taught me to embrace cozy sweaters & oversized scarves for the cold Fall/Winter days we have here! I found this adorable new boutique called Le Fleur & if you live in the Grand Rapids area you HAVE to check them out. This cute boutique is reasonably priced & has the cutest selection of stylish pieces including my new oversized scarf! It my new favorite fall staple piece in my closet and I cannot wait to post pictures of it for you. I have found these scarves to be super cozy but also incredibly comfortable!

Girls Gotta Eat Podcast

If you have not checked out these girls yet, you are really missing out! Girls Gotta Eat is a podcast that basically talks about anything & everything you could imagine. I listen to this podcast on the go at any point during the day & boy do they make me laugh out loud! If you are looking for a new podcast to put a smile on your face & give you advice for daily struggles, then this podcast is totally for you. I think my favorite episode has to be “F*ck you Carrie Bradshaw!” It is a totally honest discussion about Sex and the City & how flawed some of the plots are. By far the funniest one I have listened to from them!

Turtle Neck Sweaters

This is a style that I never thought in a million years I would ever choose to buy but, for some unexplained reason one of these sweaters ended up in my online shopping cart. The verdict is in, and I absolutely love it! It is so cozy & the sweater I found is oversized, knit and practically perfect in every single way. I bought it from Love Culture so if you are looking for a warm cozy sweater for the cooler winter nights ahead of us, then I highly recommend you check out this sweater style!

Grown Alchemist Polishing Facial Exfoliant

I received this product in my fall FabFitFun box this year & I have been non stop using it! It smells amazing & the results were kinda unexpected. I don’t use it very often but when I can definitely tell the difference between what my skin felt like before and after using it. This product is a must-have in my beauty bag & I think it should be a part of yours too!

Now moving onto my goals for this month!

  • Boost social media pages
  • Spend more time with the people who mean the most to me
  • Get better at creating content ahead of time
  • Start the Podcast!
  • Begin holiday shopping
  • Possibly re-brand the blog??
  • Start living a healthier lifestyle

So that is everything for my latest obsessions series! I hope you all enjoyed reading & please feel free to share this blog around with your friends & family! I am working on getting the word out about my blog & I would love it if you all could share my site around. I hope you all have an awesome  rest of your week &  I’ll be sure to talk again soon!

FabFitFun Fall 2018 Box + Review

Hey there everyone!

It’s that season, FALL & you know what that means… FabFitFin Fall Unboxing!! I absolutely adore fall. Sweaters, changing leaves & Pumpkin spice everything! You honestly could not have a better season. This is my first ever Fall box from FabFitFun & I have to say that I am 100% obsessed (as always) with everything I have received. For those of you tuning into this post for the first time, I will share a little bit of information about what FabFitFun is all about.

So I pay a seasonal subscription for FabFitFun which means I only have to pay 4 times a year. Your first box will be $10 (which is an amazing deal), all the products you receive are full sized & absolutely incredible! I will share my special code at the end of this post for those of you that would love to try it out. I wouldn’t be promoting these boxes if I didn’t like them & I promise for the price you are paying for hundreds of dollars worth of products, it is 100% worth it. So, let’s dive into the latest & greatest goodies!

Vince Camuto Luck Tote

I am so unbelievably happy that I chose this bag as one of my add-ons!  It is super lightweight, the material is awesome & it pairs well with everything I have in my closet. The retail value for this bag is $128, so needless to say this was a great addition to my box. I love the basic black look because I feel like it goes well with anything. 10/10 best item EVER!

Alfred French Press Coffee Brewer

I have been dying to start using a french press coffee maker for a while now & when I saw this as one of my add-on options, I didn’t even hesitate! The caption, “But First Coffee,” is a phrase I live by all the time, so I knew I couldn’t pass up not having it as a part of my fall box. I love the simple look it has with the stainless steel and glass & I cannot wait to incorporate it into my morning routine!

Cathrine Malandrino Umbrella

This umbrella could not have come at a better time considering my last small umbrella broke. I absolutely adore the simple design with the scribbled polka dots & it is the perfect travel size for any occasion!

Grown Alchemist Polishing Facial Exfoliant

This stuff is amazing! When the weather drops I have always dealt with dry skin (which is not a fun problem to have) & this exfoliant works like a true charm. I love the smell of the product! t’s formulated with glucomannan from konjac to absorb oils and pink grapefruit to fight free radicals. Needless to say, this product is a true 10/10 recommendation for anyone with dry skin!

Touch in SOL Metallist Liquid Foil Lipstick Duo (Penny coloring)

Those of you who know me, know that I don’t normally wear lipstick unless for a special occasion. I have to say I absolutely love the color choice (very fall) however, I am not the biggest fan of how the metallic look looked on me. This makes me really sad because I wanted so badly to love it, and it may grow on me, but the metallic look that it gave my lips just wasn’t my style. That being said, if you like the glittery look to your lips then this product is 100% for you! I just wanted to give my honest opinion & at the end of the day, I love the color but the metallic look just doesn’t do it for me.

Beauty Blender

I mean, come on who doesn’t need a new & beautiful beauty blender!

GLAMGLOW Bubblesheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask

This is by far the coolest 3D bubble experience I have ever had! The bubbles on this mask invigorate & detoxify your skin & boy does it work wonders. I love my glowing complexion once I take off the mask & I can’t help but laugh at myself with the bubbles growing all over my face!

Simply Whimsical Set of 2 Tea Towels

These towel designs are giving me LIFE! I adore the simplicity of the design & it totally will perk up my mood any time I walk into the kitchen. I cannot wait to put them in my apartment!

SKIN&CO Roma Blue in Capri Shower Gel

This shower gel is a MUST HAVE in my shower! I love the smell because it is super relaxing in the morning & I love the hints of sage, lemon & alpine rose. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry when I get out of the shower & it leaves my body feeling amazing. 10/10 would totally recommend to anyone!

So that’s everything! I hope you enjoyed everything that I shared with you. If you would like any more information about the box or how to get started, don’t be afraid to reach out to me & I would be happy to give you more information! I absolutely adore this company & these boxes which is why I am so passionate about sharing my experience with you. I would not share or endorse any products with you that I do not 100% adore & I hope you take the chance to look into starting your subscription. I will share my link down below & be sure to check out my IGTV (Instagram) for my video review of the products as well! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week & spread positive vibes wherever you go. I will talk to you all again soon!

Day Off + Making the Most of the Day

Hey there everyone & happy Monday!

Holy cow this past week was crazy. Between working & having some good friends visit for the weekend, I have been running around non-stop. Today is my day off before I have to go back into work & it got me thinking about all the things that I wasn’t able to accomplish on the days that I was busy. So, I thought I would share some of my tips on how I try to stay productive during a day off! I always try my best to make the most out of my day off’s. I’m not saying that any free time I have is used cleaning & organizing, but I like to explore & make the most out of the full day I have!

Don’t sleep in late

I know that you probably want to sleep in on your day off but I’m telling you there is no better feeling than waking up at a decent time & getting your day started. I’m not saying you need to wake up at the crack of dawn or anything, but waking up at 8:30 or 9 in the morning honestly great! I am able to roll out of bed, grab my morning coffee & start my day.

Make a reasonable To-Do List

The key word here is reasonable. If you are using your day off to work on getting stuff done, then make a to-do list of the most important things you need to get done that day! I normally try to start off with 5 goals for that day & if I get done with them all early, then I focus on the lesser important goals that I had!

Move Your Body

Don’t spend the whole day just hanging around the house watching Netflix (I know it’s hard not to) but get your body up & moving! Whether it’s going to the gym or finding a new local hang out spot, it is important to not waste your time & get your body moving. I love finding new places in GR to explore on my day off!

Life is too short for you to spend an entire day just looking at your phone! I’m not perfect & believe me I could spend hours just mindlessly staring at my computer or on my phone, but some days I have to force myself to unplug. I have found that I am way more productive on my day off when I disconnect & pay attention to everything going on around me. If you want to make the most of your time off, unplug & make sure to make the most of the beautiful day around you!

Do something you don’t normally do

Day off’s are the perfect day to try something new & do something that you normally don’t have the opportunity to do! A lot of the time I don’t have a whole lot of time to go somewhere, just sit & write, so on my day off’s I try to put some time aside for me to go sit somewhere local & write. I also love to spend time with my boyfriend, especially if we have both been crazy with work, and spend some time exploring!

Your mind & body are the most important things for you to take care of, so it is important for you to take some time during the day to recharge your body! Most days I like to take a cat nap or try some meditation because it helps me to refresh myself before taking on the week ahead.

Prepare for the week

As much as I would love to just forget about adult responsibilities (ew) and go about my day, most times I find it useful to take an hour or two out of my day to plan out the week! This way I have a clear plan of what I still need to do & plan out time to do it in between working.

I hope you use some of these tips on your next day off & if you have any more awesome tips that you think I should use, let me know in the comments below! Also, I have been working on some AMAZING content that I am so excited to share with all of you. So, be on the lookout for some new stuff coming soon! I hope you all have an amazing rest of your week full of fun & positivity. Don’t let your Monday blues bring you down today & keep pushing forward to the weekend!

My Blog is 1 Year Old + Everything I have Learned

Hey there everyone!

So it’s official my blog, Hannah Rose is one year old & I cannot even believe it! Looking back a year ago I would have never thought that I would have been in this spot that I am today. I started this blogging journey just for fun & I am just amazed at how far I have come. I have found myself & my own personal style through this journey which has helped with my confidence as not only a writer but as a woman. My passion with this blog has always been to spread positivity & love through blogging so, I am very happy that I have been able to accomplish that in just a year that I have been writing for Hannah Rose. I have learned so many important lessons about blogging & what it means to be a content creator. So, I’ll stop rambling & share some lessons that I have learned through becoming a blogger!

Blogging can be time-consuming

Finding & creating content for every week can be insanely time consuming, especially as a full-time student. Lucky for me, I absolutely love to write which made it really easy for me want to sit down & create new content! Even with my busy schedule for working & school work, I found that with a little planning I can create content on the regular if I just make it a priority with everything else in my life.

Find a blogging tribe

Sometimes the only people who will support you through this journey will be your other blogger babes! Now don’t get me wrong, I love my friends & family’s support, but there is nothing like having a group of other bloggers to lean on for support during your blogging journey. Since I have started this blog I have connected with other women from all over the country & it’s so nice to talk to them about their start and create new content with them. I am so lucky to have some of these amazing & supportive people in my life!

It’s okay that I may not make money doing this

That’s not why I started this blog in the first place. I started this blog so I could connect with other people & spread positive vibes through my writing. I am lucky enough to be a part of FabFitFun’s Affiliate program (which has been amazing) & my goal is to keep building up my brand so hopefully, it could possibly start paying for itself. However like I said earlier, it’s totally okay that I am not making money off this blog. I do it for the love of writing & creating every day!

Social media is key

I had a pretty decent social media presence before I started my blog, but after I had started blogging is when my presence really took off! I started developing my own style for my images, I was easily able to share new blog content with everyone & social media really helped me build up my brand. I honestly don’t know where my blog would be if I wasn’t able to share through my social media. (PS: Follow me on all my social media!)

My writing is ALWAYS improving

Looking back to when I first started writing, I almost have to laugh at my writing style back then. It’s crazy how much my voice has changed through writing & part of that is how much confidence I have gained within this past year! I used to be so nervous & second guess my writing before posting it. Now I have a little more confidence in myself & my writing which has made all the difference.

Plan Plan Plan

Planning out content is key. When I first started writing for the blog I didn’t have much of a plan when it came to what content I wanted to post & when I wanted to post it. I’m not saying I have gotten AMAZING at planning, but I am slowly but surely improving it!

Be you

It gets tiring trying to be like everyone else, but of course, it is very hard not to compare your self to other bloggers out there. There have been plenty of times that I have tried to change my writing or my style for the sake of trying to be similar to other successful bloggers out there. The truth is the only person you can be is YOU! Since I have discovered this, I have found my own style & started writing content that I have been insanely proud of. The best advice that I can pass on after this year is just to be yourself!

These are just a small amount of lessons that I have learned through this past year of blogging. I would share more but then I would have a novel! I just want to thank everyone who has stuck by my side through this blogging journey. It honestly means the world to me that all of you have stuck by my side since the very beginning. I can’t wait to keep writing content & sharing all my adventures with all of you.  Cheers to one year & I hope for many more to come!

Sending Positive Vibes,
